This procedure involves the removal of varicose veins. The vascular surgeon removes the varicose veins through a series of small, fine skin incisions. The entire procedure is performed using microsurgical techniques. The lower limbs are bandaged after the procedure.

- The procedure can only be performed after a prior examination by a vascular surgeon, who will consider all contraindications to the procedure:
- Acute deep vein thrombosis
- Skin inflammation of the lower limbs
- Pregnancy
- Age over 80 years
- Severe changes in the arteries of the lower limbs
- Intolerance to local anesthesia
- Morbid obesity
